Here is a picture of Argante Nimue, the owner and one of the founders of the Grove.
Shannon or Argante Nimue (craft name) was born a raised in the south suburbs of Chicago. Brought up by a Catholic mother
and agnostic father, she was taught to always respect other religions and faiths and to deeply respect nature. These two values
were the first cobblestones on her path. Some of Argante's ancestors were shamans and wise women of the Cherokee nation. She
also has Pagan roots in Ireland and England. At an early age she began to study Paganism after a family friend gave her a
book on European mythology and Pagan deities, heroes.
Argante leans toward eclectic styles and Celtic traditions; she was involved in two local covens, where she taught newcomers
the craft and did ritual work. She parted from both covens wanting to work with different traditions and has been a solitary
since.
(“I always love to be in the company of like-minded individuals and I also love to meet people with different views
and traditions”)
Argante now is apart of the readers for The Unexplained world and spirit weavers. She also attends many of the local open
rituals and owns the yahoo groups: Grove Of The Amber Mists and South Side Drum Jam.
Argante uses two different decks of tarot cards, the traditional Waite Rider and The path of the old world tarot. She is
also an intuitive feeler. “Psychometry or intuitive feeling is picking up past events through a person or place or object.
I tend to only work with places and people. When I find my self in a place with a lot of energy from the past, it seems to
form images or sentences in my mind. I will sometimes be able to see the faces of these people or what era they lived and
other times I can just pick up on conversations or conflicts. When performing readings for individuals, I feel Tarot cards
enhance my intuition. Not only does the Tarot help illuminate past events with a person or couple, it also helps to visualize
possible future outcomes of the path they're currently on.”
Argante was married Matthew in winter 2004 and is now a stay at home mom for her son Seth. She spends spare time working
her crafts such as statue modeling, wood working and writing novels. In addition to being a stay at home mom she is currently
working towards a degree in Education at Moraine Valley Community College.

Priestess Anjelin's picture and Bio
I am an ordained minister and have taken the title of priestess
rather than minister, as I feel rev. or minister is too christian. I consider myself LHP, a pagan dark witch. I have been
practicing for approximately 7 years. Being LHP, I tend to gravitate towards the dark gods and goddesses. I consider Hecate
my mother, Ariadne my sister and Lilith my best friend. I find the gods that I feel closest to Lucifer and Cernunnosand am
now being told that Anubis is calling. And for some reason, I have been chosen also as a lightworker. Now, try mixing that
with the LHP. lol But, there it is. People come to me for help all the time and I feel like I need to help them. I am a 39
yr. old widow, mom of two and gramma of three. I read anything on paganism and witchcraft that I can get my hands on, to continue
learning. I have a tendency to dress hippy, gothic, witchy and happily mix it all up. I read tarot, wolf and faerie cards.
I'm intuitive and psychic and have had visions since I was a child.
